I got out of work early today and decided to help my friend Christy groom at her shop. She had mentioned yesterday she was going to be swamped, so it was only the right thing to do!!
Well after grooming 4 dogs and helping to dry a few others I'm whiped. I forgot how hard my job was!! How terrible is that. I was still able to lift the fatty golden outta the tub. It was ice to know I still have my strength.
I'm going to work n trying to groom a couple days after work wit her, you know just so I dont forget how. Altho Christy says, " Grooming is like sex, just because you haven't done it in a while doesn't mean you forget what its about."

Cheerios
We have a theory at work about cell phones and the brains one needs to have to operate one. We decided every customer should have to take an IQ test. After the results have been calculated a sticker shaped like a circle is sized up. This will become their IQ sticker. It would have to be as big as or bigger than the IQ circle located on the box of the phone they would like to have. If their circle is smaller, well they would need to get smarter before they could own the phone.
Here is a story of a women that would benefit from such a program. She called me yesterday complaining her Motorola RAZR was having a memory problem with the text message inbox. She claimed she used to be able to get about 80 messages in there before the phone would say it was full. Then as time went along that number has been getting smaller and smaller. Please remember the Motorola RAZR is about the simplest cell phone one could own. Very minimal menu options and pretty basic technology for a cell phone. Does the basic text and picture messaging and of coarse makes calls. That's it.
I started asking my usual questions, "How many are in the inbox now,how many in the outbox. Do you have lots if ring tones/games that could compromise the memory" ect ect. Well I find out shes been saving all her picture messages in the inbox because she didn't know how to save the attachment. When I explained to her that because she had so many picture messages the memory was compamised, she continued to argue with me about the phone losing memory. She insisted it should store more than 59 messages. I explained that picture messages take up MUCH more space than a regular text and if she kept the messages in the inbox her memory would still deplete even tho she had been deleting text messages. She just couldn't get what I was saying. Thank goodness for my quick thinking and ability to explain things to retarded people.
"Ma'am, lets pretend your inbox is a box of Cheerios."
"ok"
"Ok, One text message is ONE hand full of Cheerios and a picture message is TWO hand fulls of Cheerios."
"Ok, got it"
"Now you just deleted ONE message, that's ONE hand full of Cheerios."
"Uh huh"
"Now receive a picture, that's TWO hand fulls of Cheerios."
This was followed by a moment of silence and then this Ah Ha moment,
"OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get it."
I then showed her how to save her photos to a separate folder so her inbox could receive more than 59 messages. This women should just stick to a land line, she would get a circle smaller than any circle on any box.
