Well as many know now we have orders to be in Kansas October 10th. I say "we" and not Skip cause it's the both us going and me staying behind just isnt an option. I cried for 3 days. I am still an the verge evrytime I have to think about leaving my house that I am completly in love with. It's the most perfrect place I have ever lived and I don't get to stay. The only thing I have been able to think about is how are we going to find a place to live and where the hell am I going to work. There is no call center for me to transfer to and only 1 retail store in the whole area. I will have to start paying for daycare and I will no longer have any help from family. I will truly be on my own for the first time in 25 years. I'm scarred shitless.
I did get lucky enough to get some help putting things in prespective last nite. We had the guys Skip works with over for a BBQ that didn't end until after 1 am!! With the exception of the DD we were all pretty hammered. After being asked by every guy there if I am going and being told how good a women I am to stick with Skip thru this I started feeling a bit like a hero. It was almost like they half expected me to say no. I didn't really know what to say or how to feel at the time, but they really gave me a ton of respect for it, especially after I told them I have been here for almost 14 years and I have no idea what the hell I am doing. We arent going totally alone, Skip's soldier, Snider, also got put in assignement there and he's from the area. So he's been helpful to talk to. Even drunk he can coe up with the right things to say. Over all we had a blast. I have a whole new respect for those guys and what they do. I heard stories last nite that made me want to cry. The American Soldier is really a creature to respect.

Puppy Joys
Ah yes the joys of puppies are endless and sometimes just gross. Like today I came home and my poor baby couldnt hold it. So he was covered in urin. MMmmm.... had to clean him. Then I had to clean the poop in the yard. Its been hard to clean because of all the rain. Just doesnt get dry enough to scoop. And we have weeds, not grass to scoop from. Really not an easy task. Ugh. Diapers are easier.

And so it continues
Anyone who has ever owned a dog long enough to see it pass knows how hard and how rewarding a dog can be. We all know the work and frustration we have to put into it. Dogs simply cannot train them selves, but neither can our children.
I've done my best for 2 weeks to avoid any direct contact or conversation when it comes to Christa's dog. I simply cannot deal with it. Training Yoshi and my 2 year old is more than enough for me!! Today they all happened to be downstairs instead of out front when I picked Aiden up and I got to see her dog going bonkers like any other untrained large breed dog(especially working breeds). She was yelling at her when I walking down the stairs and Aiden was scratched in the arm pretty good because they tell her "OFF". He has at least learned Yoshi plays nice and wont jump. Children shouldn't be afraid of dogs.
ANYWAYS, Christa is mad because the dog is peeing on her carpet. The last 2-3 dogs have all peed on the carpet as well so this dog doesn't see a difference between it and the grass. So she calls the dog a " Stupid Bitch"(by the way now I know where Aiden gets it from) and puts her outside to "train herself" I of coarse have Yoshi with me, he is sitting at the end of his leash doing the best a puppy can do to contain himself. Christa makes mention on "how good my dog is".
I then have to explain to her how much work we put into Yoshi on a daily basis. Not even daily, but hourly. I had to explain he has accidents and that we MUST STOP what we are doing that very exact moment and go out with him so he can understand where he is supposed to pee. She seemed shocked by this amazing revelation.
In any case its totally obnoxious and I am wiling to bet in 2 weeks the dog goes up for a yard sale. Shes not going to get any better.

Photo Blog
I think he does this best.
He's going to be confused when he can't fit under there anymore!!!
She thinks she is a dog.
Water bottle is his favorite toy.
Joe Dirt's Family
By now I am sure most if not all of us have seen the movie Joe Dirt with David Spade. He has a ridiculous mullet during the whole movie. You never really think you are going to see something like that in real life that's not from a early 90's country music video.
Well come to Fountain. Most of this place is made of military, but those who aren't military are hicks or white trash. I mean that in a kind way too. They are very nice people and it's a nice change from having to shop with Mexicans and thugs or the rich folk from Briargate.
We went on an adventure last nite to get a few things when I truly got a shock. We were by the milk when I happened to look over and see 10ish year old boy with a FULL mullet!!! I'm talking Billy Ray Cirus mullet here. The long stuff was half way down his back. It gets worse. He is standing there with his brother is probably about 8. Same mullet! It doesn't stop there, they are standing with there dad who also has the same damn mullet!!!!! I thought I would never see such a thing, but then I see the worst of it all..............their mother also had a mullet. This is no joke, I almost choked on my spit. I looked at Skip and was like. "WHO THE HELL DOES THAT!"
I have seen some crazy things, but that totally tops it. Totally. Maybe next time I will snap a photo just to show you!

And you thought your job sucked
Today had an awesome start for Skip. He was promoted to Staff Sgt. YAY!!! He's been working for months to get it. It was well deserved.
By this afternoon he was demoted. Oh yes, demoted. Not for any kind of doing of his own. The retard that was supposed to verify all his points missed a page that wasn't signed by the right person. So instead of seeing it over a week ago, they let him go thru the whole ceremony today. Instead of letting it be and getting the right signature on it they tell him he will have to wait until next month now.
So next month Skip will be promoted, again. Yea hows that for shitty HR.
