It's hard to truly understand how bad you miss someone until you are actually given the chance to stop having to miss them and then you still miss then when they are standing in front of you. You come to realize that nothing truly fills that void, no matter how hard to try to believe that maybe you have. You can go out and do a million things and be with a million people, but none of it is really what you are longing for. It helps and its all wonderful to have, but it's not the same.
It's Sunday morning and I can finally say I feel like I am where I belong and life is in order. Even if it's not really sorted out yet. I'm good for that, its what Ive been missing.

Penny Jars
Well I can offically retire the day counting jars. All the pennis are in one glass and my heart is home. I couldnt be happer to be rolling those damn coins and taking them to the bank. I feel like I have had to wait a life time to do so.
I got 4 more days off. This has got to be the best vacation I have had, AND its the first I have had PAID! It totally rocks. I can go back to work fully refreshed and ready to kick ass. In a few months I will have more time saved up again. I love my job.
I would also like to take this moment to rub in the fact that it is not even noon on a Friday and I am already having a beer!!! If there is a heaven.....well I am totally there!!!!

Mother F'n Fish Tank
So we all know how I love my fish tank and the hell it's put me thru a number of times. Well I can say the last 6-8 months Ive been a bit distant from it. Doing only the minimum to keep it well. Well a lot of that has been due to malfunctioning equipment and what not. Issues with the lights and problems with filtering junk, mainly the skimmer. Well I was lucky enough to be offered a brand new skimmer for a fraction of what it actually costs by Nancy. I guess it was just sitting around. So I went today and picked it. Seeing her husbands tank gave me a new interest in mine and I have plans again to make it better. But first let me tell you about my damn adventure tonite.
The easy part was pulling out the old skimmer and chuckin it into the trash. I think my neighbors might have thought I was tossing my bong out. It looks a lot like one. Lets see try to smoke outta that thing. LOL. But anyways, I start pulling all the stuff for the new skimmer out of the box. It has like a billion pieces to start. I had to actually read instructions to put it together. Sheesh. The n I have to completely redo my sump set up to fit it in there. What a damn nightmare. I feel like I may have gone swimming in the ocean today, that's how much salt water I have all over me and the carpet. I got it in there and plugged it in. No bubbles. I'm looking at every last connection I can and I see no reason why I have no bubbles. I unplug it and take it out. More water. Aiden at this point joins in the fun and gets his hands in the sump himself. I'm too wet to even care. They were clean. So anyways I pull the whole thing apart, remember the million pieces here, put it back together and try again. More water from having to get it back in the sump. I plug it in. BUBBLES!! I realize after I had done this that if I had checked the input of the pump and noticed it wasn't fully connected(D'oh) I wouldn't have had to pull it out and start all over. Man!! But its BEAUTIFUL and working better than the first one ever did. So happy.
This now brings me to the new plans for the tank. I have to pick up one new bulb, which I intend to do tomorrow. That will make everything much happier. It needs more sunlite. I have been wondering what to do with my old 20 gallon tank and I finally know now. I am going to make it into a new sump. Its much longer than the one I have know and more shallow. This is gonna make it much easier to do maintenance on the darn thing. I figure I will get the design done on that in April.. I will need some plexie glass and stiff to make chambers in it. More water changes are in place for it. Get the coral growth jump started and start adding new. Its been forever since I added my last piece. I'm so happy I finally got this desire kicked back into gear. Its been so long since I cared.
So yay. Look forward to posting pics of it soon, when its picture worthy again!!!!

I offically quit
Yes folks it's true. Ive been waiting for at least 6 weeks to quit. Been prepping myself everyday for the change. The Blackberry is back in the box!! Ive changed to a Samsung touch screen. Its just a regular phone with some fancy added. No more getting email directly in my box. No more being signed into yahoo 24 hours a day. It feels weird, but also pretty good. With Skip coming home I just decided I didnt need to be that connected all the time. Not that I am gonna go forgetting everyone, just gonna be a little less of me. Its a welcome adjustment. But anyways, thats the news for now.

Kira Knightly's face irritates me. Im watching a moviewith her and it really does bug me. LOL. Sad I know. Well I really had intentions to write more this crappy half paragraph, but I seemed to have lost the words. Enjoy

15 days
Yea. I got 15 days till I have to share my space with a WHOLE other adult. I'm pretty stoked and all, but where the hell am I going to fit another person and their stuff? I mean this is no short term, your outta here in a week or two. Its a permanent thing. SO here's what I have done.
Over the past 2 months I have down sized and gotten rid of ANYTHING I don't or haven't used. And I'm talking so much crap that the mexicans love me. I just leave it out for them to have. Free is better than Goodwill. Makes me feel like I am doing my part. This has been a weekly thing. Days off are filled with trips to the trash. No joke. But I still don't have room!! Just looks less cluttered. Ive cleaned out the closet twice and my mom is going to store a bunch of junk at her house for me. That made some room at least. I was able to get all my crap into one dresser, freeing up a spare for Skip. At least there is a place for all his socks and what not. And you can actually stand in the closet and not get scared. An added bonus for me. Got rid of tons of stuff under the bathroom sink last nite. I hadn't realized there was so much junk under there. And I do mean junk. You name it, it went in the trash. That doesn't help the amount of stuff on my sink or all the stuff on the shelf in there either. The fish closet is cleaned and organized for the first time since I have lived here. I can actually get the grill out and not fear a demon is gonna bite my hand off when I put it in there.
I still have the junk drawer to clean, cause you know I have to make room for more junk. I wont be making much more room here in the living room anytime soon. I would have to evict the rats, cat and fish to really make a dent in it. And we all know that's not gonna happen.
So over all, we will pretty much be living in each others bubble and I think that's gonna be OK. We might even have to share a personal bubble for while. Joy. Oh well, back to more cleaning and tossing of junk. I swear I never run out....Oh and as soon as I can make shelves on my ceiling(a friends suggestion) I'm gonna do it!!!

Happy New Year
Well it's January first. I'm happy to say yet again I have NO new year resolution. I'm very happy with that as I have learned they never actually work out. The only thing different is now I have to write 09 instead of 08. That's the hardest part and it also makes 07 seem like a long time ago. Interesting.
Skip will be home in 20 days. I've begun to have the wonderful panic attack that comes along with wondering where on earth I am going to fit another adult in this apartment. I got just enough room for Aiden and I. I currently have enough uniforms for my own small army in this apartment. Ugh.
Yea, lots gonna be changing this month.
