Heroin

No, not as in female hero, but as in the drug.


My brother has started rehab this week for an addiction that he has had for about 7-8 months now.  I didn't really know that's what was happening.  My mom kept it a secret and also denied the truth to herself.  He has found a great doctor and is seeing a therapist.  He has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and is also being treated for that as it seems to be a reason for his use of the drug.

This really bites.  We grew up with screwed up lives and no one can seem to understand the shit that was done to us, the things we had to endure and the continuing abuse we have suffered into our adult lives.  It's very frustrating to see him go through this.
